My Day

 

Today I was off. Today I was down. I was feeling discouraged and defeated. I felt down about a lot. I was lonely, angry, disappointed by some things that have been going on and I was just flat out sad. I got in my car and blasted High and Lifted Up and I was reminded of the true meaning of this life. 

We will have down days but ultimately we have a joy in Christ that is unbelievable. It's not about us, it's about Him. So even today, with my less than perfect feelings, I know I have a God who is thoughtful of me, who loves me more than I can fathom, and who has blessed me beyond belief. So I'll take a down day, I'll take a down week, for I have a friend in Jesus and a lifetime with my creator. That's enough to make me smile all the way home. sometimes you just need to park your car, praise Him at the top of your lungs, and focus on the One who's bigger than any problem, feeling, or day that comes your way. He is so good.
