Just One More Joy of Marriage

 

I’ve had the “I’ve got the joy, joy, joy, joy down in my heart” song stuck in my head tonight and we’re laying in bed about to fall asleep and I couldn’t remember the words after “I’m so happy, so very happy”. So I asked Jordan. He continued it in with “I’ve got the love of Jesus in my heart”. Something as small as hearing these words from him may seem silly to some of you, but not to me. It’s more than just the fact that he knows the same Sunday school songs that I do or that his voice is my favorite sound in the entire world, but hearing him proclaim the same love and hope that I have in Christ is the greatest most comforting feeling. I could go on and on about all the reasons why I am so proud to call Jordan Michael my husband, but there’s nothing that brings me more pride than knowing, hearing, and seeing his relationship with the Lord.
