12 WEEKS

Our 12 week little lime. € week 12 has been a great one with a dash of hormonal swings Pregnancy is full of such high highs and it's fair share of its random, unexpected, unexplainable lows. I had one of those lows this week, but I really have the best support system to remind me that this is normal and I haven't just lost my marbles. The waves have come, but then they pass and I'm back to being on cloud nine again. Pregnancy & hormones, what a trip.

Chronic illness and pregnancy has been a whole thing to navigate. My POTS has been tough this trimester - I've been cooped up in bed with very little strength to do much of anything. BUT the good news is a lot of POTSies actually get better starting in the second trimester (thanks to an increase in blood volume!) so I'm very much looking forward to that possibility!

] & I learned about the 9 different cries of babies, we bought our babe their baby monitor, and I've started my research on preparing my body the next few months for the big delivery day where we finally get to meet our little bean. So many firsts and so much excitement.

My cravings for sweets have spiked. We're talking childish sweets like Rice Krispie treats and cosmic brownies. I only wish the cravings lasted long enough to eat more than one W I've been surprised by how much less I'm able to eat in one sitting and yet shocked by how soon after being stuffed that I'm in full hunger again.

The biggest thing I've realized this week is how much more alive l've felt since becoming pregnant. How much more aware of my body, how much more present I feel with my body and my baby being inside me. I feel like I end every post with this, but only because it couldn't be more true. I am just so thankful.

Here's to the last week of the first trimester!
